Эта смертельная в прошлом болезнь в настоящее время полностью излечивается у 80–90% больных, получавших терапию в специализированных клиниках [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit4">4</xref>]. Достигнуты значительные успехи и в реабилитации пациентов с ЛХ, что подтверждается результатами социологических исследований. По данным опросов, качество жизни у излеченных больных не хуже, чем в общей популяции [1, 5]. ЛХ не относится к числу распространенных заболеваний. В США в период с 2005 по 2009 г. зарегистрировано 7500 первичных больных в год (3,2 на 100 тыс. среди мужчин и 2,5 на 10 тыс. среди женщин), причем 12,8% из них составили молодые люди до 20 лет. В России в 2009 г. зарегистрировано 2570 пациентов, что составило 15,2% всех первичных больных со злокачественными новообразованиями лимфатической и кроветворной ткани, или 0,7% от общего числа онкологических больных [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit4">4</xref>]. Последние эпидемиологические исследования в США, охватывающие более чем полувековой период (1935–1998), позволили выявить достоверный рост заболеваемости ЛХ у подростков и молодых людей до 30 лет [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit2">2</xref>].
